Q: Can i search by model of the vehicle only?

Yes. Just select the model under find by vehicle and click the find connector button.

Q: Can I search by year only?

Yes. Just select the year under find by vehicle and click the find connector button.

Q: Why do the connector photos not show the wires?

Most of the connectors we have online have the wires removed before photos are taken. With the wires in the background the photo of the connector comes out a little distorted. Please read the description under the connector you're interested in to see if it includes wires. You will find it will say: connector with 8 inches of wire OR connector ONLY no wires. If you require wires give us a call with the sku # and amount of wires needed and we will get you a price.

Q: Why can't I find anything when using the search box?

Most of the time the reason for not getting results when using the search box is you have already picked a year, make, and model. Make sure if you didn't find anything under the vehicle to press the CLEAR button and then retry your search by using keyword such as (Camry headlight, Civic horn, Subaru fog, etc..) and remember to always compare our photos to what you have.

Q: What warranty do you offer?

All of our parts come with a 1 year/12,000 mile warranty.

Q: Trying to look up a connector by vehicle but getting no results?

Since most connectors aren't available separately from the harness through the dealership there's no database for looking up connectors, anywhere. This website is fairly new and we are creating our own database but it will take a long time for us to have every connector listed by vehicle. First we will list our most commonly sold items. We are working on this as quickly and efficiently as possible. If you don't find what you need listed on our site please go to our request a connector page and follow the instructions. Keep in mind only 5% of our inventory is uploaded to our website.

Q: Should i repair airbag wiring?

Please refer to the manufacturer repair manual for detailed information. To quickly check the recommendations for your cars airbag system visit I-CAR.

Q: Ordering from Illinois and tax exempt?

We charge tax in the state of Illinois. If you are tax exempt and would like to order, create and account on our website. Before your 1st order send us a copy of your certificate of resale CRT-61 via email to accounting@connectorexperts.com or fax to 630-246-6671. Then give us a call and we will change your account to tax exempt. All your future orders will be tax exempt.

Q: I'm having trouble submitting a connector request form. What should i do?

The major reason why our website will not allow you to submit a connector request form is the size of your photos. If you are using a newer camera with larger megapixel resolution the photos will be too large to fit. In this case you will have to resize your photos and reattach them or send them directly from your email to order@connectorexperts.com.

Q: Are all your parts listed online?

No. Only about 5% of our inventory is listed online. If you can't find the part you need, send us photos of it to order@connectorexperts.com or complete the connector request form.

If you select during the order process or at other times when you submit personally identifiable information, the information you provide may be used by Connector Experts to create and deliver to you our newsletters, surveys or other communications containing product information. Q: Brochure Mailing List

If you have requested a Connector Experts brochure, all information is kept completely confidential and is not shared with any third parties. We may, on occasion, send you an updated catalog or brochure. If you do not wish to receive any mail from Connector Experts, please contact us via email at webmaster@connectorexperts.com. Include your name and mailing address and email address. You will be removed from any future mailings.

If you have elected to provide us with your contact information, e.g., by registering at the Site, emailing our Customer Service department or placing an order, we may provide you with service related announcements concerning the Site or contact you regarding your customer service requests or your order. Connector Experts seeks to protect the security of your personal information both online and offline. All credit card transactions are secure. Every on-line order is encrypted and sent through a secure server, using SSL technology to prevent information from being intercepted.

Confidential information such as your credit card number will be used only to fulfill your order. To protect your privacy, we will ask you to enter your credit card number and expiration date each time you place an order with us. This way, even if someone else accesses the account information stored on your computer, they won't be able to use your credit card.

E-mail is not encrypted and is not a secure means to transmit credit card numbers. We will only display the last 4 digits of your credit card number on your account.

Shipping & Returns

Q: What shipping options are available?

At this time we ship through FedEx and UPS contact us if you are interested in an expedited shipping on your order.

To find out the shipping options and prices please add the connector you're interested in to the cart then click on view cart and enter your zip code at the bottom left side of the screen.

There are no weekend deliveries. All overnight orders placed on Friday will be delivered on Monday. If you require Saturday delivery give us a call. Saturday delivery will usually cost between $60-$90 depending on your location. All orders placed on weekends or holidays will be shipped the following business day. Normal Shipping days are between Monday to Friday.

Q: What is the shipping cutoff time?

The cutoff time for orders with products in stock are: Ground 3:30PM and Overnight/next day/2nd Day 5PM central standard time Monday to Friday. Our warehouse is open most Saturdays (please call to verify). For Saturday the cut off time for overnight/2nd day is 1:30PM with No ground shipping. Please note that orders received after the cutoff time will NOT be shipped out on the same day. There are no deliveries on weekends. All overnight orders placed on Friday delivered on Monday. If you require Saturday delivery give us a call. Saturday delivery will usually cost between $40-$90 depending on your location. All orders placed on Sundays or holidays will be shipped the following business day. Normal Shipping days are between Monday to Saturday.

Q: Do you ship COD?

No.

Q: Do you ship outside of the USA?

Yes. We ship to all countries. Customers outside USA please call to order and get a discounted price on parts & Shipping.

Q: Do you ship to Alaska and Hawaii?

Yes.

Q: What could cause a shipping delay?

Shipping delay can occur when the wrong address or zip code is submitted for the shipping address. If the shipping company can not deliver the package we will contact you via phone or email.

During the holiday season shipping delivery may vary.

Q: What are the return terms?

No returns on used, altered or modified parts. All damage claims must be done within 48 hours of receipt of parts. If you receive an order that has been damaged by the shipping carrier, immediately contact us so we can work on a quick resolution. Parts must be returned unused and in original packaging within 10 days of delivery date. Once parts have been returned and inspected, we will return your money within 5 to 7 business days. Freight/shipping/local pickup/handling fees are non-refundable (unless we were in error). If an item needs to be returned the shipping fees are the customer's responsibility. There will be a 20% restocking fee. There are absolutely no returns on special ordered items. We will not accept responsibility for any costs exceeding the cost of the part.**No returns will be accepted without an RMA # and official invoice. ***No returns on parts/orders under $20.00. (it’s just not worth the cost of returning and associated processing costs and restocking fees). Returned orders with free shipping will be deducted a $10 shipping fee from the total refund unless the return was due to our mistake.

PLEASE DO NOT REFUSE/REJECT THE PACKAGE IF YOU NEED TO RETURN THE PARTS. Doing this will have FedEx/UPS charge an extra processing fee that will have to be deducted from your refund. It is a lot cheaper to buy a new return label. USPS will assume the package was delivered to the wrong address/person so they will hold the package at your local post office for a few weeks to see if someone (the intended recipient) will come down to pick it up. This will also make the return go past the qualifying return period.
